The Brief

Glasgow 2026 set out to build early excitement and awareness for key milestones including the King’s Baton Relay launch and the 500 Days to Go countdown. The brief asked famjam to deliver digital campaigns that positioned Glasgow 2026 as a community-led Games, inspiring sign-ups and engagement ahead of ticketing and volunteering opportunities.

Our Approach

Working alongside the in-house marketing team, famjam delivered digital support across milestone campaigns including 500 Days to Go, the King’s Baton Relay and Mascot Makers. Activity covered social content and paid activation, website updates and email marketing. By aligning messaging across channels, launching a refreshed identity and creating digital assets for community audiences, famjam helped position Glasgow 2026 as people-first and set foundations for future recruitment, ticketing and volunteering.

The Results

The milestone activity generated strong early traction. Video content achieved 300k+ views in week one, digital activation supported the new mascot launch, and the email database grew by 38% during the campaigns. The combined push built visibility and primed audiences for the next phase of recruitment and ticketing.
